Amazed

March has gotten off to an amazing start!  I spoke at my Church home Celebrate Recovery this past Monday.  I usually share my testimony from the heart (without notes) but for some reason,  God pressed upon my heart for me to write out my testimony and read it.  I reluctantly obeyed.  As I finished my testimony, I didn’t feel that it touched anyone in a special way….I kind of felt it was boring because I was reading and really didn’t have any interactment with the crowd.  BUT to my suprise (like the Lord ALWAYS does) a few minutes later the Lord gave me the opportunity to lead a young woman to Him.  I was blown away!  Having the privaledge to lead someone to Christ is the greatest honor I could ever imagine.  I now have a new sister in Christ….Yea!!!!  The following night I was honored to speak at the Singles Ministry for my Church.  God blessed me in an amazing way and allowed me to see just how wonderful my Church and Church family are.  There is no other Church better than Blackshear Place BC.  I have many events coming up that I am looking forward to.  I am especially excited about speaking at Gainesville State University b/c I will speak to students who are faced with crucial decisions in their lives and I will encourage then to seek the Lord’s direction instead of living for the moment and self gratifying themselves.  Your prayers are appreciated as I continue to do the work the Lord requests.  Thanks for visiting my site and God Bless!!!!!

Ya know, I was reading about you this morning, and I was really touched.

You’re a great source of inspiration for all of us. A real American hero and a good representative of what the Lord would have us all be.

Good to see you are doing well. Take good care.

    Ashley,
I praise God for you. I thank you for allowing Him to work through you. It has been a time of transformation for me the past couple of months. I have stopped, listened and gave Him all of me for the first time in my life. It is a commitment with its struggles but worth it all. There is no life without Him. While reading the Bible this morning, I thought of your life. How God brought you out of darkness and into His light. He is working miracles in my life daily. It is beyond amazing what healing He delivers. Our afflictions gone in the blink of an eye if only we believe. I was reading 1 Peter 2:9-12 when thoughts of you came. I am so glad that I found you on the internet. I will eagerly follow your walk and be lifting you up in prayer. I would be honored to show my support anytime. You now have my contact info. Call me anytime. March on Sister!
    In His Love,
    Shara

    Ashley,

That is great news that you were used of God to lead someone to Him. What a miracle! Praise God for using you in a powerful way. I am member of BPBC and we have spoken a few times. I am still impressed that you are pressing on and serving the Lord after such a bumpy life. I, too, was a drug addict and I was an alcoholic, as well as an addict to other things. My life was in the gutter and I was without hope. Seeing you at church serving God helps me because I can see Him at work in the life of someone that has been in my shoes. Keep pressing on in service to Him, knowing that you shall meet him face to face some day.

    In Christ,
    Ric Honsa
